This portal collects school information for Malur Taluk, Kolar District. It uses no government logos and does not claim government affiliation.

Information collected

We collect the UDISE code, school name, teacher name, teacher and WhatsApp numbers, GPS coordinates, accuracy, location capture time, descriptive address where available, validation status, submission time, and audit history. Security controls may process request IP addresses for rate limiting and administrator activity.

Purpose and services

Authorized administrators review school information and location captures. School search sends only the UDISE code and district/taluk to the AI search service. Teacher details are excluded from AI requests. Geocoding sends coordinates to the maps service. Confirmation sends your submission details through the configured WhatsApp provider.

Access and corrections

Public duplicate lookup reveals only school name, UDISE code, date, and status. Personal details require administrator access or OTP verification of the registered teacher mobile. Corrections retain an audit history.

Location limitations

Permission is required to capture location. Device-reported GPS can be spoofed and cannot independently prove physical presence. Neither reverse-geocoded addresses nor IP addresses are treated as proof. Missing official school coordinates result in pending verification.

Retention and privacy contact

The deploying organization must publish its approved retention period and privacy contact before opening collection. Records are not automatically deleted until an operator configures the policy. The source includes retention maintenance and backup instructions. Contact the administrator coordinating this collection for access, correction, or deletion requests.
